What problems do we repair?

Do you replace stepper motors?
Yes. We replace all stepper motors with updated, high-quality replacements designed to prevent repeat failures. These are Switec X27.168. We do NOT use Chinese knock offs, or Chinese clones. despite what others have said, no other stepper motor is better or more reliable than the time tested switec X27.
Do you repair the original cluster or send a replacement?
We offer both options. We can repair your existing unit, or you can purchase one of our replacement units and send your original unit back as a core once you receive ours. This option ensures there is no downtime for you.
Do you program the VIN and odometer?
Yes. VIN and odometer programming is included at no additional charge when required.
Will my mileage stay accurate?
We program the cluster to match your vehicle’s original mileage exactly. We do not alter mileage beyond factory specifications.
Will this fix warning lights, CEL, or airbag lights?
Instrument cluster repair corrects display and gauge issues. It does not repair engine, ABS, or airbag faults unless caused by the cluster itself
How long does the repair take?
Most repairs are completed 24 hours after receipt. We will contact you if a problem arises so it is important to put your contact info in the box. We offer expedited shipping services, but you need to contact us at usdashworks@protonmail.com
Do you offer a warranty?
We offer a lifetime warranty on work we perform to the cluster. We use updated components to prevent common factory failures, repeat failures are rare.
