Repair serivice for 1995-1998 C/K 1500 instrument clusters. This repair service involves you sending in your unit and we perform the required repairs and ship it back out. Each instrument cluster is expertly rebuilt by our technicians with utmost precision and attention to detail. We then subject each instrument cluster to out rigorous testing procedures to ensure the customer receives a cluster that is ready to give a lifetime of service.
THIS REPAIR SERVICE FIXES THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS
- Oil pressure vibrating
- Backlighting and CEL not working
- Bouncing gauges when you hit a bump in the road
- Polishing of the lens to clear up some haze
- Inaccurate gauge readings (with some exceptions, see below)
THIS REPAIR SERTVICE WILL NOT FIX THE FOLLOWING PROBLEMS
- Speedometer reading too high
If your speedometer is reading too high, we can still possibly fix it. The cluster may only be knocked out of calibration. The only way for me to diagnose the unit is if I have it in my possession. If I am not able to repair the speedometer, we can put you in a replacement cluster with no core fee. Unfortunately if you have a corrupted speedometer driver chip there is no saving the unit.
