Brand new production “F” series replacement stepper motors designed as a direct replacement for the original yellow motors in your instrument cluster. The letter code determines the correct gauge application—motor color is not relevant.
These motors use high-quality silicone dampening oil that will not dry out over time, ensuring smooth and consistent gauge operation. We have successfully repaired thousands of clusters using these motors.
Fitment (Fuel Gauge – “F” Code Motors):
- 1995–1998 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban
- 1995–1998 GMC Yukon
- 1995–1998 Chevrolet Silverado
- 1995–1998 GMC Sierra

Return your original air core motor for a $20 rebate.
Customer is responsible for return shipping (USPS First Class is typically the most economical option). Refund will be issued once the core is received.
Important Installation Note:
If your original motor has a resistor pack attached to the rear pins, it must be transferred to the new motor.
- Install the resistor in the exact same pin configuration
- Take a photo of the original setup before removal for reference
- Handle the resistor carefully—it is no longer available and is not included with this motor
Failure to properly transfer the resistor may result in incorrect gauge operation.
