| Brand new production replacement “S” motors, these are a direct replacement for the original yellow colored motors in your cluster now. The “letter code” determines which gauge the motor will replace, the color of the plastic doesn’t make any difference. The original yellow motors use regular dampening oil which dries up from age, these white motors use silicone dampening oil that won’t dry up like the yellow motors. We have repaired thousands of clusters using these these motors.

WARNING: Please read the following… If your existing motor has a resistor pack attached to the 4 pins on the back it will need to be removed and installed onto this motor. When you transfer the resistor from the old motor to the new motor make sure you install it on the same exact configuration, pin for pin. Taking a picture to have a visual comparison of the old intact motor before you transfer the resistor may help you install it correctly on the new motor. If you don’t transfer the resistor, damage it or install it wrong the gauge will not operate correctly. The resistor is no longer available and we do not include the resistor with your purchase. HANDLE IT WITH CARE. Please have the vehicle properly diagnosed by a mechanic before purchasing this motor. These are brand new production GM motors, if this motor doesn’t correct your problem do not blame the motor, you have other problems in the vehicle. Installing these motors requires electronic knowledge working with delicate PC boards. This process involves removing all the pointers, once the pointers are removed the cluster will need to be be re-calibrated. This process should only be performed by a professional with the proper re-calibration experience and equipment. USDashworks WILL NOT be held responsible for any damages caused directly or indirectly by the installation of these motors. We do not offer any technical support or instructions on the installation or calibration but we do have a service available to repair these clusters.
